Self Employed Tax Return HSBC Kinetic account WTF? Can anyone help

I apologise if I sound very stupid, I have dyslexia and whilst I run a successful business I struggle with some aspects of reporting and accounting. If you can help I am very grateful.

I opened an HSBC Kinetic account for my business in Oct 2023. I checked I could download statements at CVS file. I was told this was no problem.

I have just started my tax return 2023-2024 and it has not allowed me to download as a CVS file - I can only download the statements as seen. I called and was told that despite Kinetic being a business account it does not have this function.

I was on the phone for 48 mins and no one was able to answer my questions - the man I spoke to did not know what a tax return was!

Does anyone know how I can do this or how I can work round it at all? It will take an incredibly long time to type it all into Excel myself 😑

You can convert pdfs to excel electronically by a number of apps/websites/softwares, some of which are free, but most are pretty cheap.

You can also get accounting/book-keeping software where you can set up a data feed straight from your own bank's online banking to transfer the transactions electronically straight into the book-keeping software.
