Ccj for rent?

Hey. Family member passed and I am in bad way financially. I know they can take you to court for rent but can you get CCJ from it? Hope you can advise ppl x

Yes you can, It happened to me years ago. Get in touch with citizens advice, to help you navigate through this.
Sorry your having financial difficulties, it's a horrible position to be in. I was a single parent and worked part-time when this happened to me.

Yes you can.

It can be as little as £115 , and they can raise it through small claims court. If the judge orders repayment and you don't , you'll get the ccj as far as i understand it.

Sorry, my dp just said he thinks my ccj was for council tax, not rent.
