If the Government sells it's Nat West shares, will this make the share price drop or rise?

If anyone can enlighten me, that would be great. Currently sitting on some shares and wondering whether to sell them. Apparently the Govt will be selling shares soon.

TIA.

Any large scale sale of shares usually makes the price dip a little - basic supply and demand - but if the company's performance is good, they should bounce back fairly quickly.

Thanks for that. Gah. Don't know what to do though.
