Any tax accountants who can advise please?? Or anyone know the best way forward?
My partners DD23 got some clerical work in Prague for a big company assisting a relative in January 23 for a few weeks. It turns out she had no work permit and they got her to invoice them every week and they paid her. She is now needing to provide evidence to a big UK company who are screening work history.
She didn’t realise she needed to file a self employed tax return here in the UK (she didn’t earn anywhere close to the threshold to pay tax but enough to need to file she now realises)
Is there a mechanism to file a return late so it then becomes official on her tax summary for the year?
