can anyone please recommend any courses that aren’t too time consuming and put you in good steed for a job?
im a single parent (newly) and currrntly on mat leave but unable to return to my previous role due to relocation.
what courses have been done that either allowed them to have their own business (like private travel agent for example) or courses that look good when applying for jobs?

Hey OP - I don't have any ideas I'm afraid - you might get more traction on the Work board, I think you can ask MNHQ to move it

It might be an idea to look in your local area. Councils are more cash strapped than they used to be, but libraries and community centres might still do things like food hygiene or first aid courses for free.
Or sometimes when you volunteer at an organisation they run training.
