If my ex has left work, is there any way he would still be liable to pay CMS?

I've just found out he was terminated in April. He's gone completely non-contact with me so isn't sharing anything, so I have no idea if he has anything else lined up.

I know he's not eligible for any benefits, has a lot of savings and investments, lives a nice lifestyle, so he can afford to pay but won't. And I know I can't force him to, but just want to know if CMS could do anything?

Baby is due in 4 months.

If he has income, it's assessable under variation. All this is available on Google...

But are savings and investments classed as income?

Sorry I don't these things and some things are difficult to decipher on google....

Yes I get £6.72 for my children from exes benefits, hasn't worked in years.

It's really not hard to decipher. It's black and white, and the first page of a Google search. You just need to read the "booklet."
