OP posts:
Sugarplum48 · 09/05/2024 11:21

I know right!! who would of thunk it! a flp bot lying her arse of to try to flog starter kits to members of the public innocently trying to shop and then BANG a bloody flp bot ambushing you the minute you step into dunelm to buy a dust pan and brush not friggin collegen of all tings

Spongebobette · 09/05/2024 11:55

And offering you a glass of collagen - which I am
sure is equally as yucky as the aloe samples

OP posts:
Sugarplum48 · 09/05/2024 12:06

Yup. I'm waiting on a response from dunelm themselves. Be interested to see what they say about allowing this nonsense to go on in store

Angrymum22 · 09/05/2024 12:07

It is potential quite dangerous giving out free sample since the recipient could have an allergy to one of the hidden ingredients. I’m allergic to aloe, thank god.

Angrymum22 · 09/05/2024 12:09

Sorry I’m sat in the garden and have forgotten my reading glasses. Can’t be bothered to edit to correct.

Sugarplum48 · 09/05/2024 12:14

Yes l agree, it's dangerous to do what she's done. I'm stunned that a company as big as dunelm wouldn't of regulated this "event"

HouseofHolbein · 09/05/2024 12:17

Looks like Castle is having another photo shoot. Suppose at least she's keeping Bruv in business...

Oh I’m sure she explained all the ingredients and risks and had a disclaimer on display 🙄

She probably did a Castle and drew a chart to show the real facts 🙄🙄

Who do we reckon will try for the meal with Mr Scamdopolopdus so they can hashtag it for the gram and of course the backpacks / notebooks

DeliaDeetz · 09/05/2024 18:08

I see Specsaver and Scotbot have copy and pasted Yawn's claim about them having the "number 1 selling collagen in the UK!"
Usually when a company is claiming this kinda thing about a product there is usually some small print about where their data comes from or what period it covers etc but I'm guessing FL are above that!

Angrymum22 · 09/05/2024 23:43

After an extensive trawl of the tintenet I have found no reference to FL collagen. There are so many products out there of superior pedigree that are endorsed by significant influencers and celebrities. Yawn et al need to find a celeb, little chance of that though since they all consider themselves celebrities in their own back yards.

It’s incredible isn’t it
a big shopping spree followed by a long photo shoot over 2 days

it’s all a narcissistic game

Alert for any MLM recruiters out there - Nurse has been complaining for a while about not liking her job and is looking for something else

unfortunately she’s a prime target

YouOKHun · 10/05/2024 12:57

Nurse is about to quit and is doing a lot of thinking today apparently. It was me who messaged her and suggested with the core profession she has she could train in primary care while being paid, to be a psychological well-being practitioner or a hi intensity therapist. She dismisses this in her Live as she used to do this in the NHS anyway so doesn’t need to train apparently, but I suspect she’s not allowed to deliver psychological interventions now and probably hasn’t been allowed for some time because she isn’t on the register. So she’s lost the therapy side to her NHS roles since it’s become more formalised. She says are no CBT related jobs in her area anyway as everyone wants them. There are lots of roles in her area but the problem is she’s not qualified to do them, but she could be with a bit of application and then she’d have a well paid and very flexible job.

Someone has suggested working as a CBT therapist privately and she’s said she’s not paying silly money to be on the register (that she previously told me she was on). It’s not silly money but you can’t just pay to be on it. I think she’s gone back to her NHS role with ideas about delivering therapy and even coaching and has been shut down.

Basically, she wants zero barriers to entry with zero demands where she can dream about her goal board and take no responsibility for improving her lot. She just keeps shooting herself in the foot! She couldn’t be more vulnerable to MLM if she tried could she @Spongebobette? I suspect she is going to be buying her body weight in collagen any minute. It’s a shame because she’s actually got more options than a lot of the bots will have when the doors finally close on their MLM.

Spongebobette · 10/05/2024 14:19

Totally agree @YouOKHun - it’s as though she’s looking for excuses not to make progress professionally ‘pay silly money’

there’s a path ahead she could take which requires some dedication and graft but, sadly, the effect of being in an MLM is that she has a belief system which tells her it should be easy and she should be able to manifest what she wants

Even though she’s not particularly active in an MLM, she’s still a victim of the brainwashing

OP posts:
Twentytwentyhindsight · 10/05/2024 16:31

So she's willing to pay (really) silly money for ridiculous coaching courses dispensed by unqualified spivs, but not for qualification and registration for valuable recognised skills that would go a long way to improving her and her son's prospects...

PieonaBarm · 10/05/2024 17:45

Nurse doesn't want to work but realises she needs to do something so she's looking for the easy option. A years fully paid sick leave spoiled her.

YouOKHun · 10/05/2024 17:46

Well quite @Twentytwentyhindsight. A year long post grad training is done while working and being paid. Then annually she’d have to pay £82 membership and £82 to reaccredit. If she was in the NHS a lot of the costs like supervision are paid for her. It’s a bargain compared to the coaching course. Only trouble is it requires some effort at the beginning and ongoing evidence of effort and standards every year.

I think she’s had to go back to nursing to be able to do her version of re accreditation which, among other things, requires evidence of having worked 400 hours minimum, every three years I think. So perhaps she’s just trying to tick that box. I looked at her insta for the first time in ages and she doesn’t seem to be talking about coaching at all, just a monologue about going to the supermarket etc. perhaps she’s best off trying to get a job outside nursing that has no stress and some social contact to distract her away from the likes of Speccy as well as the coaching scam school.

Spongebobette · 10/05/2024 17:57

Although her story is now that she left her previous job as she moved and the commute was too long

OP posts:
OhMyGiddyAunt · 10/05/2024 18:08

I had to laugh the other day when Nurse was surprised that people had messaged her after "somehow" picking up that she wasn't happy/was struggling a bit ..... FFS you don't have to be Miss Marple to pick that up when all she's done is moan about the job, the stress, the awful days etc for the past few weeks!

Sugarplum48 · 10/05/2024 22:28

Think yawn plus scotbot still love va!!

Oh! Did you know Yawn has lost 6 stone?

BSintolerant · 11/05/2024 05:59

Oh really? I thought she’d lost six figures - must’ve misheard! 😉
