Incorrect earnings reported to UC

I was due to return to work following maternity leave however my workplace had not informed payroll of my return date. This meant I ended up with an emergency wage payment.

Work have reported my earnings as £0, not the amount I actually received.

I've put a note in my journal- how long will this take for them to sort our? I really don't want to deal with an overpayment

The amount UC use is that the employer reports when running payroll so, in a sense, nil is correct.

I would expect your next monthly(?) salary to reflect the advance and whatever action the employer takes to recover it; it all comes out in the wash!!
