So I’m really confused with when I will receive my first LCWRA payment… I received my letter to say I’ve been awarded on 11th March. My first sick note reported to UC was 21st November 2023. I didn’t receive the additional money on March’s payment will I receive it on this months payment (April 2024)

my assessment period is 19th - 18th of each month

and I have no joint claim.

will I be owed any money and will I get the extra money this month does anyone know?

thanks in advance this is well confusing. Because I have read they pay from the 14th week from the first fit note that takes me till 27th February.

They pay from the 4th full assessment period following your first sick note.

Dec Jan 1st AP
Jan/ Feb 2ndAP
Feb/ March 3rd AP
March/ April, you should receive your first LCWRA payment on your April statement.

UC have a habit of wrongly stating that the first payment is due 3 months after the date you were granted LCWRA which is wrong. Make sure you challenge them if this happens.
