Afternoon everyone, on the first of February I put in for a mandatory Reconsideraton on pip, Thursday I had a call from a case manager she needed more evidence so I answered the questions she asked what was fine. She then asked if I’d been in prison hospital or on holiday recently and if I could handle a sum of cash if I was awarded. These was fine. Then today I phoned up for an update and the lady said I was declined on the 15th of march. How could I be declined on the 15th march if I didn’t have my phone call until Thursday for more evidence and if so why haven’t I still received a decision letter. Had anyone had this before thanks x

I think the best thing is to wait for the formal outcome of the MA and then come back here, or visit an advice agency to consider whether an appeal to the First-tier Tribunal is worthwhile.

When the letter comes.. check your nearest SCOPE .. they help with tribunals.
