Holiday Pay

I'm so confused with working out part time holiday pay owed. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction at all?

My friend applied for and got a full time position. There was no written contract or confirmation of what full time hours should look like.

She worked there for 12 weeks, working all hours she was given but it ranged from 24.5 hours a week up to 62 hours a week. Overall she worked 461 hours over 12 weeks.

Her leaving wasn't handled well and she believes she may be owed holiday pay. She was on 10.42 an hour. There's no HR and it was a very small business so no support from there.

I know it's 28 days minimum per annum so does that equal 7 days leave for the three months? Or is it 461 × 12.07%? Or something else altogether?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The statutory entitlement will be 461 x 12.07% x £10.42, obviously less any paid holidays (including public holidays) taken in that time.
