Hi there. I had my little girl on Tuesday and have just added her to my UC claim. I don't yet have a birth certificate for her, will I be asked to attend a meeting to show a birth certificate? I can't get an appointment for the certificate for another three weeks

I don't think you'll get any money for her until she is registered and verified by the UC team, but you will get the money backdated. Congratulations😊

They will sometimes accept red book or hospital bands as proof
