Earning extra money driving

Does anyone drive for Door Dash, Uber eats etc? If so how often and how much do you earn?

I've no idea how much exactly they earn. But I know it's often a lot less than the old-school alternative of delivering for a local takeaway. I've known people move away from the big chain deliveries to local takeaways for this reason.

A cousin of mine delivers for his local Chinese on Friday and Saturday nights, 6-12pm and walks away with £80-£100 cash in hand per night (after fuel costs). Plus a free meal!
