Is the free child care for two year olds just for England?

I'm in Wales and it's hard to get a clear answer on it. But it looks as though it's just for England?

This is the new '15 hours of free child care for two year olds' announced by Jeremy Hunt a few months back.

I can't be the only one wondering.

I think it is only for England.

Looking at the Welsh government website, funded hours are only for 3- and 4-year-olds. There are eligibility criteria.

Some 2-year-olds can also get free education, up to 12.5 hours a week, under the Flying Start scheme.

The best place to start looking is probably your local Family Information Service.
