Returning George faulty item of clothing

I bought in store 2 days ago. Chucked away the receipt as it fitted. I’ve now noticed there is a fault! Can I return without receipt for a refund? I paid in cash and don’t mind a credit note/ gift card.

They'll probably exchange it for you.

They’ll usually exchange. Did you pay on a card - showing the transaction date might help but my experience is Asda customer service is really good.
