Just jumped back in for the ride to halving 🎢

Anyone in?

Coins to watch etc.

I jumped on the train last time (21 peak) with not much knowledge in what I am doing. Ended quite well so fingers crossed for this ride. Who’s a newbie and who’s a pro?

Any strategies you’re going for this time around.

Assume you will lose it all
If you make anything the tax man will take 55% or more
Good luck

Gymnoob · 06/02/2024 21:49

@Digimoor 55%! Where’s that come from. I thought it was just standard capital gains.

I'm in, hodling and hoping! I don't think we'll lose it all. Anyone that has held bitcoin for 4 years has profited, though its an investment that could go down as well as up. But, with the new etfs, I'm feeling optimistic! They give bitcoin access to all without the stress of sorting out how-to hold it.
Good Times ahead!

I bought £500 worth split across, SOL, ETH and ADA about 3 years ago and its all currently worth about £270, although was as low as £70 at one point. Hoping the rise will continue. If we ever get to £1000, we are going to withdraw the original £500 then leave the rest to see what it does.

It’s looking good I’m fealing positive my sons father started buying bitcoin at £100 he’s got over £100k now pretty impressive. He thinks Bitcoin will hit £200k 🔥🔥🔥@Digimoor 55% don't be ridiculous
as a side note where are you transferring to some banks won’t take crypto starling or monza I think will.

Gymnoob · 07/02/2024 12:25

I am Etoroing @Parsley1234 so my bank has no issue with that.

I know it’s not great for the fees. The spread is massive. But I like that the platform is financially regulated (even if their crypto isn’t).

Yes the ETF fund are exciting! What made me finally jump back in.

Anyone doing stop lossing or take profit?

I am questioning whether I should just slow and steady it by taking x% profit on alt coins and funnelling that back into Eth/Btc. Not get too greedy.
