Help!!! My maths is not up to this - can anyone work out what the exchange rate would have been on an amount?

I know this is really simple and no doubt a 12 year old could do it but my head is about to explode!!!
If I got £2817.05 for Eur 3322.85 - what does that mean the applicable GBP/Eur exchange rate was at that time?
