Will I still get my payment?

Hello

So I received my letter to ask me to move over to universal credit from child tax credits.

I did this on the 6th January.

However as I've since found out, once you have done this the child tax credit is closed.

But my question is will I still get the payment I was due from child tax credits, which would have been paid 17th January, backdated in my universal credit or is that payment a write off?

I appreciate any help

Tax credits will close out your claim and work out your entitlement up to 06/01/2024, then inform you if there is an under or over payment.

Ok that's very helpful, thank you.

Hopefully I'll get that money included, I shouldn't have been overpaid at all.
