LCWRA

My DD 20 is autistic and was assessed as LCW. She has been reassessed after appeal and they have said their original decision was incorrect and have now awarded her LCWRA. Does this mean she'll be entitled to extra UC? She gets £290 per month at the moment. Would she also get a backdated payment? They have said nothing about what this change means. Sorry but I am clueless where benefits are concerned. Thank you.

Yes, she'll be entitled to £390 extra per month. I would presume it would be backdated to the third month after she submitted fit notes, but the paperwork should tell you.
