I normally get my tax credits on a Tuesday but they have been paid onto my account today. Does anyone know why? Is it something to do with the bank holidays coming up? And what happens next week? Any help appreciated x

Normally, you would get paid this week and then next week would be paid on this thursday (of this week) and there would be no money next week, iyswim. If you are paid monthly then I have no idea.

Actually, I rang them up last week to enquire about what I am entitled to as I have been signed off sick before my maternity leave. I didn't end up giving details though, they just told me I would need to recalculate my earnings for this year (which I have still not got around to doing so I haven't updated as such?? I will call them tomorrow to get some clarification.

It was St Patrick's day on Monday. Family allowance normally paid on a Monday went into the bank on Friday. Tax credits paid on a Wednesday went in the bank today.
