Highest reward credit cards for cash-back or Avios, not Amex

As per the title, can anyone recommend me a CC? I've done various searches online so do have an idea but want to check with a wider network to see if anyone has a good recommendation.

I'm after as much 'reward' as possible, ideally without a monthly fee and it can't be an Amex.

Thank you!

MSE recommend Asda or John Lewis as the best non Amex CC but Chase debit card seems to be the best non Amex @ 1%.

I'm really missing decent cashback credit cards, the old Amazon one used to be decent. I'm stoozing instead now, I have a 0% purchase CC that I spend on and put what's owed in a 5% savings account and pay back the minimum until the 0% period ends and then clear the card.

Capitol on Tap give 1% cash back and a discount if you spend it on vouchers, it may be business only though.

Have a look here:

They also have a weekly podcast 'CashChats' that explains all the new offers listed.

Thanks all, I appreciate you replying.

Some good suggestions here, but much I'll look into.

I have a Barclaycard for collecting Avios at places that don’t take Amex. It’s only 1 Avios per £1 (whereas my Amex is 1.5 per £) but it mounts up over the year. No annual/monthly fee and I pay off in full every month so I can’t comment on their interest charges.

I have a utility warehouse card. Cashback varies from 1-3%. Only problem is that very occasionally purchases are inexplicably denied! Apart from that, I’m £20 up from my December spend.
