Our circumstances changed & they have just sent us new forms etc stating we will get £317 per month this is sooo not right it can't be dp has had a payrise & i am sure on his wage he should not get this, i have told them but they are saying it's right.

I know it's not, what can i do because i know they will then next year say they overpaid us!

God i think i would rather be without them, i am sure it can't be right it way to much!

If they insist then it must be right. I would put the extra money into a seperate account though just incase they ask for it back.

Obviously his payrise now makes no difference but i entered the amount from his p60 from the yr 06/07 but when i enter it online it comes up far different from what they are saying!

I don't trust them to be honest!

The can't reclaim any money if you have told them that they are overpaying you and they have done nothing. I would go and visit the CAB, they will do a benefit check for you and will be able to advise you on what you should do. The amount that you can claim varies from year to year inline with the budget, check the statement that they have sent to you, check the amount of money your hubby earns is right, go through it and make sure the info is correct. If it's not, give them a bell, if it is, I wouldn't worry. Put the extra into a seperate account just in case (I'm pretty sure 99% they can't ask for it back if you have told them it's wrong and they have told you it's not). They work with a complex computer system and sometimes it gets things wrong, it's also difficult to understand and explain. I'd go to the CAB and ask them to do a benefit check for you.

Yes have checked all the form all wage input is right, names, kids etc etc, oh well i have told them so we will see.

I will go to the CAB if i get a chance so thanks for that info.

It's strange how there systme works in fact i can see why people all over the place are owing them money, i am pretty sure we are going to end up owing them money it's wway to much for what dp earn't last yr!
