UC pay date

I wonder if someone could advise.
If I get paid on the 23rd of every month, when would be the best time to start a UC claim?

A week before or on/after the 26th.

Yeah, give it a good week either side of payday, otherwise if the date you get paid moves and you get paid twice in an assessment period, which can happen at Christmas/Easter etc, it’ll mess with your claim
