Double child benefit

Is it true there will be a double child benefit payment in December? Saw an article that said it was announced in the budget?

Ah oh well!

In Ireland you get 1.5 times (210 euro ) the child benefit for each child if you have twins and double the child benefit (280 euro) for each child if you have triplets.
Does that mean a family with triplets will get 2 x * 3 x *280= 1,680 euro for Xmas payment?
Not begrudging them.
