Quitting college & UC

My just turned 17yo has not settled at college and apparently it is too late to move colleges, having phoned around all others 😣I understand if she isn’t in education our UC will drop. If she starts again next September would we then be able to have her on our claim for the duration of a two year course?

She has a part time job that she currently works 2 shifts a week at. She may be able to pick up more shifts in the meantime.
