Does anyone Use GoCardless for their business? I think I'm being scammed by a cleaning company. I paid (very stupidly) upfront for a £225 deep clean of my business. I don’t know the person running the company and from their reviews and FB page I thought they looked credible. The payment was taken through GoCardless (on their side) That was 4 months ago and after 3 cancellations from them I asked for a refund. I’d previously (again stupidly) had given them my full name, address, phone number and email address. They have repeatedly asked for my bank details and after they have all my personal details I'm reluctant to give it to them. I've asked for them to refund me through GoCardless, they initially said this wasn't possible but are now saying they can but it'd be in increments of £100, £100 & £25 and will have to wait for each payment to clear which could take a while. They also refused to send me a cheque or refund me through PayPal. I feel like I'm being totally d**ked around and am about to report them to Action fraud and take small claims against them. Before I do please can anyone tell me if the Go Cardless line is true? I googled it and it looks like she can refund me at the touch off a button?
