DD2 has had fantastic help from CCCS

AS far as credit ratings are concerned I don't know because she hasn't even tried to get any credit since before she went to them, but I think because of her bad record with her creditors she would have had a rubbish one anyway.

No idea what hers is like now - we should check it, shouldn't we?

WendyWeber · 11/03/2008 10:17

And yes, they really do help - she had an interview with them, gave them the details of her debts (credit/store card) and they negotiated with the creditors that they would get about £10 a month each and stop charging interest.

Her bank then failed to set up the standing order so they didn't even get their £10 initially but it's all running smoothly now and they are mostly leaving her alone - although one of them did keep ringing offering her a reduced amount for a final settlement.
