Hi hope everyone is well. I have joined a trust deed has anyone had experience with one of these? Will be debt free in 5 years but what happens if stoped paying. Has anyone did this

Trust deeds don’t usually relate to debt, they are used so one person can hold property on trust for another for some reason.

You will need to give more details if you want information / advice.

Assume you're in Scotland. The debt advisor you're using should explain all this to you.
If you stop payments, the original debts and interest return... unless you get a new agreement from creditors, which is rare.

Is it protected? If so have you spoken to your trustee? They could arrange a payment break or agree to reduce your payments

Yes im in scotland, i have spoken with trust deed and asked to put my payment down as im on maternity leave till i go back to work
