Telegraphic transfer question

Bubbaloo · 06/03/2008 21:31

We're in the process of selling a property at the moment, which completes next Friday and our proceeds will be sent by TT to Dh's current account, with the Nationwide.
Just wanted to know if anyone knows whether the money will be cleared funds or whether we have to wait for it to clear?
I did phone the Nationwide but I don't think the person I spoke to knew what I meant by a telegraphic transfer.
Thanks.

Telegraphic transfer means the funds will clear by close of business - they should be there instantaneously but normally do not show up until after COB
