How much per hour does this job pay?

Thinking of applying for a school job. It's 21k full time equivalent. Working hours per week is 20.

But taking into consideration the school holidays and all that, how much per hour does that work out??

And it's paid equally every month, but interested in what the pay per hour is.

I think that’s around minimum wage pay if it were based on a regular job.

i don’t know how many weeks a school year is if you want to consider the hours actually worked.

The hourly rate is pretty easy to work out. I assume 35 hours is full time, so a 35 hour week on £21k would be around £11.53 an hour.

21K / 52 weeks / 35 hours

How much you would actually get paid is a little more complicated to work out

That's not a lot of money OP. When I worked as a school office admin I was earning 23k per year on a term time contract. That's not pro-rata. Full time equivalent was about 28.5k.

Depends on the FTE hours - probably around 37 per week?

If the FTE is 37, the hourly rate would be just under £11. Just over £11 if the FTE is 35 hours.

Slightly above minimum wage but roughly in line with the real living wage (assuming you're outside London).
