Yawn is branching out in to dog training. While walking in her local woods ( absolute bollocks, she lives 30mins from the “woods” which is a smallish coppice where the world and their wife go to walk their dogs) she gives a full on rant about other dog owners. If she doesn’t want her dog to interact she shouldn’t go there. Everyone who uses the area knows that it is a great place for dogs to socialise properly off the lead. I meet up with a friend there and we walk our dogs who are best of friends. They totally ignore other dogs when together unless they come across another black Labrador, it’s a labrador thing.
It’s not a place I would take a large, potentially reactive dog. It’s strange that she walks the pup on it’s own all the time. I suspect she is having major problems training her. My dogs have always been easier to train when they have the example of another older dog around.

Ironically, someone commented “Yawn” on the story. She was very snippy in her reply. I wonder why?
