Accidentally paid credit card late. Should I wait to apply for a balance transfer until next month?

Basically as above! I read on the promotion must have paid latest minimum payment on time. Will they know that I was 2 days late on a different banks cc?

It depends on what your current cc provider has reported the payment as with credit agencies
If it was only 2 days late they may have not logged it. Did you get a late payment charge?

No not that I can see! Not sure when they would apply a late payment charge though. It's a bit annoying as I'm sure I had notifications set up for them to inform me of what date payment is due.
