DLA - Back pay

Hello, I have been awarded DLA and got a phone call to confirm my bank details on the 13/9 and then a text message shortly after. I know I have to wait for the letter to confirm payment dates, but the lady on the phone said that the back dated pay would arrive on my account over the next few days. Today still nothing and as there was some confusion over my bank details I'm starting to worry. Can anyone reassure me that it takes this long? I can't even call them as I work 9 to 6 and it takes well over an hour to get through.

My sons DLA gets paid every Tuesday. So, as it was Wednesday that they confirmed it, I'd give it until tomorrow or Wednesday for it to go in your account.

I got a text confirming we'd been successful on the 13th and pay went in today. Hopefully yours will be in soon

Hi can I ask what your scan date was please? I'm currently waiting to hear back will be 15 weeks on Thursday

19 May so that was 17 weeks I think

It went in the day after I posted this thread! Scan date was 17th of May. Still waiting for the letter.

Ah brilliant. We got the letter on Tuesday which is the same day the money went in. We got HRC and LRM for 2 years, so happy

After a year of fighting after tribunal decision my daughter got awarded hrc lrm. Backdated from 23rd November 2022 spoke to lovely lady called me on 3rd November 2023 checked everything on form was same said they wouldn't get till 6th the people who process the payments. Still haven't received anything to date and no letter only of tribunal to say we won and how long we will get it for. Not sure if I should chase it up or wait couple more days
