My friend at work has a relationship that is dissolving.

They are not married. They bought a house in 2002 but its in his name only. She contributes £250 per month for bills.

What is her position re the house - does she have any claim?

Thanks!

Hi Wig - thanks for the speedy response and looking at my post it was a bit brusque -sorry - really appreciate any help you can give!

they've lived together for 4½ years but been in own property for 2
no children
she contributes more towards the food shopping (this is on top of the £250 she gives him)
he's French (moving back)!
she does most of the housework
she's bought soft furnishings
has decorated rooms
she gives him a lift daily to work but he does fill up every third time (about every other month)

he pays for major repairs

hope this is what you meant!

Thanks again
