hi i thought i would start a thread regarding Pip because i had no answers to ?? on the other thread and also those on pip or applying will always have ?? due to the nature of pip

ok well my ?? has now been answered by myself as i asked for my report (took 48hrs from asking for it super quick)
quick recap been recieving standard living for 3- 4 yrs but now am waiting for a knee replacment so put in for a change of circumstance mid June,2 weeks ago a txt said the report was finished and was now with the decision maker so it was a paper decision

Still with the decision maker but got the report today and works out 12 points for living and mobility, and a 5yr review how likely is it that the decision maker will down grade im on the cusp really for both so does anybody have any advice good/bad

thank you

Surprised they awarded for 5 years if you are having a knee replacement which presumably could significantly improve your mobility ? Unless you also have other health issues which are unlikely to improve of course.

Does anyone know how long renewals are taking at the moment? My DD gets higher rate mobility and care and it runs out next month (it already got extended by 18 months due to the backlog). We filled in the forms in March this year which they confirmed they have received but have heard nothing since. Surely they should at least extend it again while looking at it? I’m really worried we’ll suddenly lose the car as it won’t be easy to replace quickly.

As long as you send the forms back on time it'll carry on until they make a decision.
