Accidentally transferred into Isa account

I’ll call the bank tomorrow but I wanted to see if anyone else had made a similar mistake…

I transferred some money into my Isa account which is already at the max for the tax year.

Can I get that money sent back to me without losing my tax free status on that account?!

stupidly I made two big transfers to it over the weekend, I thought I was transferring to my new offset mortgage saver.

In my experience they just reject it and it comes straight back to you a couple of days later 👍

Thank you! I surprisingly got through to the bank pretty quickly and they said the same thing. I will not be doing admin stuff while the kids are around again!
