Tax credits mandatory reconsideration can't tell if they have done it or not? How does it come back?

Can anyone help re. how DWP should respond to mandatory reconsideration request for tax credits? I submitted it on 8th July. My government gateway account when I click on progress just says it is submitted. I got a standard tax credits letter recently, but it didn't say anywhere on it it was a response to mandatory reconsideration, just a standard award letter? if that is my response then they still haven't considered by pension contributions

Semantic point probably but if it's Tax Credits then, I think, the MR will be dealt with by HMRC rather than DWP.

Probably, it's in somebody's real or virtual inbox waiting for somebody to look at it. CA suggest 14 days:

Thanks Bromptopoo that link was really helpful I havent received the notice yet in that case as it sounds like it would actually say mandatory reconsideration notice at top. 2 months today since I submitted but actually I am not in a hurry as once it comes through will be switched to universal credit I think, although am dipping into savings.

I rang and checked up on mine, it hadnbeen touched, way after their own deadline. It triggered some kind of flurry and they accepted my version of our families finances, letting me know with nothing more than a casual phonecall. Good luck, I hope it comes back in your favour.
