hey all first time here

ive claim for pip and just waiting on a results but i got a phone call today to see if i can manage my own money and bank account, has anyone had this before? is it anything to worry about?

Did you already have an assessment? I got a call from the original assessor a while after my phone assessment to clarify a few things that she wasn't sure on/hadn't asked me about. It was slightly off putting because I didn't have all my paperwork in front of me but I answered truthfully and still got awarded so not necessarily a bad thing.

yeah I had my assessment awhile ago. It’s been 20 weeks since I applied, was told it was with the decision maker last week. Then he calls out of the blue to ask if I can manage money ok.

Hi I had the same thing, I had my assessment 22nd September and then the assessor called me back yesterday saying she had sent my report to the DM but they wanted more info and she felt awful having to call me and had put the call off for 2 days as she didn’t want to offend me anyway she took more info so I’m hoping to hear soon

Maybe the assessor didn't complete the section on the report that relates to that question, I've known that happen and the DM ring to ask about it.

Hi , I've been waiting 11 weeks now. Have had no contact until Friday just gone and a voicemail was left saying I need to phone back to verify my identity. Is this something they before an assessment or after? I have tried googling but got no response any help would be great thank you
