i had to recently update my UC claim as my daughter went from MRC to HRC DLA, i notified straight away etc, told it was going to decision maker, fair enough i thought. However it’s been weeks, my case manager has chased it and still nothing, we could really use this money for my DD it could help so much and it is causing me so much stress, is there anything i can do or say to speed this up? i’ve left messages in my journal but it gets me no where

Have you updated the change properly on your journal home page by reporting a change as well as just leaving journal messages ? I assume you have if your case manager is aware.

@Babyroobs yeah i have she was pretty quick saying she will send it to decision maker etc she said she’s sent a reminder and message saying it’s causing stress but the decision maker never seems to contact or do anything and it’s been weeks so i’m not really sure what to do

Submit a complaint using the dwp online complaints system and write to your mp.

Contact your mp. They have special channels for dealing with these kind of administrative deadlocks

I’ve been awarded high rate care for my son and they’ve not backdated either, however I’m on tax credits and now they’ve sent me a migration letter to uc taking flipping forever. Hope you get it sorted soon op my tax credit forms area just says they are working on it and it should have been sorted by 23 aug.
