I was entitled to the best start food benefit following the birth of my wee girl. I assumed once my UC ended, my card would stop however it didn’t. I continued using this for my wee girls stuff due to hard times. This has continued for 2 years.
I am now extremely anxious about phoning social security Scotland to make them aware of this due to the payment. I am more than happy to pay what I owe back to them however, I am not sure if they would go down the route of charging etc?
has anyone been in a similar situation?
