I live at number 2. They built 2 houses between 2 & 3 and they are 2a and 2b. Well i sometimes have letters addressed to the people at 2a and 2b but with just number 2. I have had mobile phone bills, letters offering loans and yesterday i accidently opened a letter addressed to the guy at 2b to dear cardholder from ikea home card.

I know i don't have a financial link but if companies are not recognising the a & b could all the credit be registered at my address and affect my credit etc?

thanks - i checked my credit file and it's all mine but i'm worried as they've obviously checked stuff at my address and been accepted for credit - one lot of neighbours aren't very good and I've even had phone calls for them for debt collection agencies as the debt collection people have serached for a land line registered at number 2

If sensible conversations with neighbours don't work I would personally send everything addressed to number 2 back to the originator with an explanatory note. Searches against your address could I think affect your ability to get credit.
