How often do you check your credit report?

Morning,

do you check yours regularly? I check every month but dh has never checked his!!!!

All the time now after my identity was stolen and used to buy loads of mobile phones and Apple Watches on contract in my name. Only picked up when they tried a store card as well which raised red flags and the store wrote to my home address to check something.

Had an almost immediate impact on my previously excellent credit rating and took almost a year of police involvement and so many phone calls to different providers to sort it all out with everything eventually wiped from my record. Very stressful, and never found out how it happened.

All the time since I was scammed. I get a monthly email from Experian but it's the free version so can only see my score. I use credit karma for an in detail look and the notify me of accounts opening and soft searches.

Only when buying houses! So pretty much never.

Only when thinking about moving house or remortgaging to check there is nothing on there that shouldn't be.

I check on the bank app. It normally sits in the excellent range but dropped down when I got a loan to good but has gone back to excellent a year later.

Monthly, i get an email from MSE.

At last once a week. I get emails from both credit karma and clear score and have alerts set ups for if anything changes. It’s so easy to do.
