What is "pension funding" on a payslip?

It was added onto my salary, thats whats confusing me. It was underneath "salary". Eg it was in the column that adds to my salary. It was like a contribution rather than a minus .

A contribution to my salary i mean, like my gross was my salary and my pension funding amount added together

Yes, the employer's contribution. When did it start?

Its not that . It doesn't match contributions, its a lot more

Are you in the pension scheme? When did you start with your employer? How old are you?

What is the contribution rate and how much is this (%)? How many months has it been happening?

Have you raised it with payroll?
