Recently been the victim of fraud.
Through phoning up Natwest, someone posing as me managed to pass the security checks and withdraw £240 from one account through the 'Get Cash' function and on the same phone-call transfer a further £240 to a different account and withdraw £60!
I shudder to think how they got all my details. As a result new cards have been sent and my online banking account is shutdown pending being sent new customer number etc.
NatWest's website states that the maximum withdrawal via 'Get Cash' is £130 in 24 hours so I am wondering why they sanctioned an amount over the threshold.
Has anyone else experienced this?
