PIP

My cousin gets PIP of £68.1 per week. Last December she was told there would be a review around march as the award was up till the end of April. Nothing was sent through to her and the PIP has continued. She is now worried that they have missed the review and may stop the payments. I known nothing about how PIP works so can anyone advise? She can't get through on the phone. Do they do a review without sending out a questionnaire?

They are way behind with PIP reviews and are prioritizing the thousands of new claims they are getting. People generally just carry on getting payments until reviewed. If she is worried then she should continue to try to call PIP, you can get through but it takes a while sometimes an hour . It may be best to call first thing in the morning when they open at 9am. i called a day or so again and got answered within 20 mins.
