PIP - won’t return my calls - advice please!

I’m trying to apply for PIP for my 17 year old who has autism, originally calling in June and was told forms would be sent out

They never arrived. I’ve since called 3 times to ask them to re-send them but each time they say “they can’t access my child’s file and someone will call me back”

they never call back!!

Any advice please or has anyone had anything similar? Feel like I’ll lose my temper with the next person I speak to even though logically I know it isn’t their fault!

Are they not accessing your child's forms because it's not him ringing up ? have you applied to be his appointee ?

@Babyroobs no they’ve been with me every time I’ve called and they spoke briefly to them too so it’s not that 😞. Thanks for your reply though. They just say they can’t access it 😡

It may be helpful to get an advice agency such as Citizens Advice or your local Welfare Rights Unit involved. They may be able make a three way call with you and your son on the line to resolve this. I work as an adviser and recently helped a client to resolve a very similar issue for her 16 year old.
