Think I bought a scam product

Bought a dog bed, stupidly didn't read the t&c very carefully. Delivery is taking ages, very clear its now coming from abroad, looks like China. Looks like the reviews are fake. Trustpilot reviews are awful. I'm cross.with myself, normally I'm careful with that.

It says 'in transit'. Is there anything I can do? I'm waiting for a product I know will be crap. It was bought with a debit card

How much was it? If it’s a cheap thing, I would write it off.

If it’s a bit more expensive…someone else will come with some advice.

I did this with a dress for dd one year. After I ordered it and waited a couple of weeks, nothing appeared and I was annoyed. Luckily it was cheap so I didn’t bother. About a month later, it arrived!

everything comes out of bloody China, it just has a new label stuck in it

It will probably be here in 2-3 weeks and be fine.

I did similar once. It was one of those beanbags that you fill with soft toys. It took weeks, but it did arrive, and was fine.

The reviews on trustpilot are awful and all their reviews appear to be fake. I'll just have to wait and see

Depends what site you bought it on. If a YK site like Amazin ir whatever just cancel order or return it. If a Chinese site there’s nothing you can do but its worth a row if you aren’t haooy as they sometimes give partial refunds to avoid bad reviews.

Was taking ages so googled and everyone was saying scam/rubbish
Eventually arrived days before my holiday and they were fabulous

Scamadviser says its dodgy. You'd probably have to send it back to China paying for proof of delivery to get your bank to do anything. They can do a chargeback but they hate doing it. Cancel your debit card now so they cant get extra money, those details may have been sold to someone who will fake a card. Change the email address you used as you will be inundated with scam emails.

Never buy from anywhere that requires goods to be returned to China.

It does say returns are sent to an international address but you don't get the address until you start a return!

There isn't even any address mentioned on the website and the 'about us' tells you nothing about them.

I always check for a UK address before ordering. Having no contact details is a total red flag. You can do a debit card chargeback if you don't get a delivery

I just bought the same product and kept getting shipping updates but no information in them. I Googled the company/scam and found your post/Tripadvisor! I’m usually so careful and didn’t spot it not a UK company 🙈. Did you get yours and if so any good? James

If bought via debit card you can arrange a charge-back with your bank.

It arrived! Not sure how it compares to other dog 'calming' beds but she sleeps in it no problem!

Not entirely a scam but probably pretty close! Product arrived (cat bed) but couldn't stand the smell. Arrrgh.
Should have read the return policy! Misleading info on website about returns:
"Just send us an email to [email protected] and let us know you want to return your order. We will send you the returns address right away." Naive me, I assumed it would be in the U.S.
So, pay shipping to China or get $8 credit on the cr card. Now that's a scam!
