Yes and yes - you pay your rent out of that, and (some of) the wages have been taken off the total payable.

Yes. Your total rent allowance is included, but because of earnings, £682.11 has been deducted from the total Universal Credit you were entitled to.

You'll get t the earnings plus the Universal Credit, and you will pay your rent in full to your landlord.

Thanks to the OP in this one for adding the claculation to their post. It's much easier to advise if you can see how the award is made up.

The principle behind Universal Credit is that it works in a similar way to salary. You get one monthly payment covering whatever help you need (kids, rent, health etc). It's then up to you to pay the landlord etc etc.

It's possible to get rent paid direct to the landlord as an Alternative Payment Arrangement but that's an exception that either you or the landlord would need to request.

Is that £390 the limited capability for work element? If so then that is why your award is so high as you have that and are able to earn a significant amount also.

Yup, that looks right as the amount tallies.

I'd guess the earnings are the partners as OP asks it they're on top of UC.

They've kids so so work allowance, albeit at the LR, is present LCfWRA or not.

Based on 682/55*100 plus WA earnings after tax etc will be around £1620.
