Evri lost my parcel.HELP

Please help I’m losing my mind!

I recently returned a parcel to matalan via Evri returns (I paid for the return)

I have tracking from Evri saying they picked it up 3 weeks ago but nothing since, I spoke to the silly online robot and they told me they where looking into it but I haven’t heard anything.

matalan are saying they have not received it and will not refund.I don’t know what to do? Can’t speak to anyone at Evri and matalan won’t do anything.

has anyone been through this? Do you have advice? How do I claim the money back though Evri if all I can speak to is an automated robot?

it’s really getting me down now, i refuse to just kisss goodbye to nearly £100!

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think your contract is with Evri so you need to keep on at their very difficult system to claim compensation from them. There is a way through to talk to a real person, though I can't remember exactly what now.

We got stung when we were forced to use them to return a laptop to Tesco. It went AWOL and Evri's T&C's say they don't cover laptops full stop. My husband's pretty good at this stuff but he couldn't get anywhere and we just lost our money in the end. So I would always urge people to check the Evri exclusions from compensation list. But there's nothing about excluding clothes so that is not the problem here.

Ever since then I have tried to vote with my feet and only buy from companies who use other delivery services.

I have had this with both Next and M&S recently. The parcel was returned to both via the store's returns labels - so I think it was their contract with Evri, not mine. In both cases the stores gave me a full refund.
According to the lady at Next, Evri have a huge backlog and are utterly shit

I am thinking twice about every returning anything via Evri again - it is an utter ballache.

Hello, there is a trick to speaking to someone at Evri. What you need to do is the following:Ring 0330 808 5456

Select option to track

Enter tracking details of a package that has been successfully delivered (very important that you don't put in the one that's missing)

You will be told that it's been successfully delivered and are then given options

Choose option to speak to someone and then tell them about the one you really want to speak to them about.
