I wondered if anyone had been in this position?
I have been temping in the same role for 2 years in July, I have just been offered a permanent position.
We are looking to move house soon, it's not really urgent but need somewhere bigger and our fixed term ended so we now paying £300 more a month...
Once I take the role, I'll technically be employed by a different company so I won't have continuity of service, will I have to wait until I have 6 months employment with my "new" company before applying?
There won't be much difference in salary but I really can't turn it down in terms of benefits, pension, career progression etc.
I have contacted a mortgage broker for an initial assessment but understandably they are swamped at the moment.
